I have said it before and I will say it again, I am absolutely in love with the city. I could spend hours on end walking through the streets of Toronto finding little boutiques and jotting down "must-trys" on my list. I couldn't make it 5 steps without going into a store.
My family friend Andrew, his girlfriend and also my good friend Victoria and I set our sights on one of the highly recommended pizza joint: Libretto Pizzeria (curtesy of Toreats). Monday through Friday until 5:00p.m they have a lunch prix menu that gets you either a caprese salad or an arugula salad, margherita pizza and a desert of either a biscotti or gelato all for only $15.00.

I loved the pizza sauce & the dough! Definitely up there on one of the best pizzas I have had. I still think Cibo's pizza won my heart BUT STILL super delicious. We are going to try the original establishment on Ossington next. The arranchini was super tasty, I would have just preferred if it had the same tomato sauce as seen with the gnochi, because I could easily drink it. The pea/mint puree is very fresh, but I prefer some tang. We may decide to check out all the recommended pizza joints and do our own rendition of Toronto's top pizza joints (same for burgers). We CLEARLY love food!
FUN FACT: The pizza at Librettos is authenticated and recognized with a stamp of approval from the Italian government.
King Street & Queen Street West are the first of many streets I will take long adventures on, I am sure I missed some incredible places along the way, which is all the more reason to return!
