Filled with laughs, gifts and lots of love with my high school Improv team. My Christmas Eve Eve was one for the books. I am so unbelievably happy whenever I get together with these beautiful people. I love our annual Improv Christmas', I truly hope they continue to last for many years to come.
Christmas Eve, if possible, was even better. Caleb came over and I went all out with a not so Christmas but kind of Christmas-y dinner. We baked, exchanged gifts (which, I finally got to open up my very first stocking with various goodies, including a new poetry book and candle...he knows me). I started off the day by rimming the mugs with cinnamon sugar and pouring some warm apple cider. I then served my dinner, including my specialty (honey-Sriracha chicken) with various healthier sides especially with all the baking that proceeded. I followed a Tasty video recipe for Apple mock pop tarts which turned out surprisingly well. Then, we made fresh sugar cookies thanks to our friend Kristina for sending me the recipe. I love baking, and nothing is better then baking with someone special. I seriously am in love with my nickname 'bunny'...it is pretty fitting for my obsession. Ps. my new Aritzia sweater is adored, thank you Caleb!!!!
Christmas cuddles with my beautiful goddaughter, I wore my Christmas sweater and tights (fully knowing stretch pants would be needed for such an occasion). I over-indulged and baked some more in the morning (Rose's gift of a pre-made cookie jar...TO DIE FOR). I woke up. watched 'Last Christmas', 'Borrowed Hearts' and 'Gremlins' while reading, baking and tidying up the house. We went to Chris' parent's home for a delicious dinner. I, being dubbed the massage Queen, gave family members deep tissue massages post meals. One after another, my hands were put to work. "So, why haven't you gone into massage therapy?".
I hope everyone's Christmas was utterly amazing. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!
