September is finally here and do you know what that means? I can OFFICIALLY salut the new school year which means making references to fall won't be that much of a faux-paux. September is a great month for me. First and foremost, because I adore fall. Secondly, because I love school. I guess it is a good thing I want to be a teacher for the rest of my life.
Growing up, the best part of August for me, was getting to go to Staples to gather all my back to school supplies. I am a sucker for new gear. Thankfully, these affinities were a great bonus to my blogs. I can story board, utilize my agenda and write down many posts before I type them out. Thus, the pen to paper writing is still very much active for me. Also, I still go goo-goo-gaga over journals and stationary #guiltyascharged.
I have been an eager beaver cultivating the various ideas for this back to school post. I orgitionally envisioned myself creating a video in composition of 5 looks (an OOTW look book). I then thought of just 1 or 2 looks. Soon after I planned out having these styles grouped by types of looks. Up above, is the final result.
This Back To School Look Book encompasses three of my favourite styles. The Preppy look, The Sporty look & The Cute & Casual.
When all else fails with back to school looks, I basically end up in leggings and a cozy sweater with my hair up in a bun...but that comes after atleast a week of stress and then my fashion sense goes towards extreme PJ comfort! BUT more on that later as my IG stories will be sure to showcase my lack of fashion style soon with the mountanous work I'll have!
FOR NOW, I am ready to show off my favourite fall fashions with this little look book.
Ps...the proper DSLR photos are on Caleb's camera...I will update these screenshots later on tonight! :)
Happy shopping darlings! ALSO I always encourage my friends (and my readers) to use my look books merely as a guideline for inspiration. Perhaps, it kick starts an idea that allows you to piece items together. Things, you may already have, others are pieces that triger an "oh, I have always wanted on" moment. These basics or transformative pieces are ones you buy to incorporate into your wardrobe. That is the best part about fashion, it is ALL up for personal flare and creativity to make the ensemble unique, and most importantly YOU!
