Welcome back to the blog. Today's blog post and video was taken on the same day as I filmed this not so littlevideo. I love fall colours, styles and of course, turtlenecks. This small look book is how I style warm fall colours - in particular to this burnt auburn colouring that always seems to pop up this time a year.
I hope you all become fall inspired and just know I have a few videos in the works that will be filmed, edited and coming out this week.
How To Style Fall Colours? Simple...follow your heart. There are no rules in style...I mean there are, but you really shouldn't feel the need to abide by them. For me, styling colours is loads of fun. I tend to piece clothes together that both compliment and contrast myfall colour pallet. For example, in this look book, I chose black as the colour block contrast. There is no secret that I LOVE wearing all black outfits. Black is both flattering and easy to pair. I tend to wear all black outfit ensembles on the regular this time of year (hmm...new look book idea?). For this look, I chose a colour that makes my heart smile. The key to get your colour to pop is this contrast. Whether you pair a warm tone with black, white, nude or a dark denim, make sure the contrast is there. Or perhaps go all out and unify your look with a total head to toe fall colour look. I love fall for its warm and deep tones. Whatever your colours, your outfit and your pieces, make sure your style is totally you.
