First and foremost, a huge thank you to all who took part in answering my poll a few days back. It became a close percentage between which blog should come first and it all truly came down to those who DM'd me a request alongside the voting. If you have NO idea what I am talking about, then click on me to follow my IG stories, I tend to post frequently and consistently about upcoming blogs or even reveals when they are up.
Over the last few years of exploring Toronto and expanding my blog, I became immersed in the Toronto coffee culture. I found safe havens in local street corner's espresso bars and found solace in reading my latest poetry book with a latte in hand.
My lifestyle blog became quickly versed with the latest Toronto finds including food spots, sporting my latest styles, fun activities to do with loved ones and often featuring some of my favourite cafe spots. Not to mention this time with myself, a good book in a new atmosphere became a true source of joy and a religious form of self-care I often relied on. This habitual form of self-love not only turned into my own private escape, but also a fruitful way to share beloved memories with those I love.
To this day, local coffee spots make me smile for their aesthetics and that feeling you get when you take your first sip of liquid gold. Although I still have a long way to go and many other coffee spots to explore - this blog will take you down a Desire Love & Inspire memory lane of some of my favourite cafes that I have gone to and some of you may recognize from previous posts. Let's get started.
My favourite, favourite, FAVOURITE spot in Toronto has to be Versus coffee. Being equip with colourful lattes, the campfire side latte, banana-Nutella sandwiches and delicious avocado toast with goat cheese, I think it's safe to say I am in heaven whenever I come here. I also have spent many days travelling to this spot on my own just to read my poetry finds. Versus really has my heart as it was the first cafe I begun my solo travels. This experience was not only liberating but a memory that created a butterfly ripple into more self-care days such as these. With its beautiful crisp and clean aesthetic, I don't think there will be another spot that fills me up with this much love. It has been honourably mentioned in this blog & this blog.
I have been here once before with a beautiful friend (who I miss dearly) and I have to say I crave my next visit. Their fancy floor tile lining mixed with delicious coffees and settings makes for a perfect blog date meet up. The aesthetic alongside the service is exceptional. Also, if you love chocolate - you have to try their creations, they are sinfully delicious. Not to mention their chocolate croissant was one of the best I've ever had...trust me on this guys!See my past post here.
About a year ago I had a friend/photographer of mine come down with me to create a little impromptu shoot. We headed on over to Odin for a treat, coffee and pictures of course. I really enjoyed their wall decos and mugs overall. I have to say, their caramel brownie was easily my favourite item on the menu and their avocado toast a close second. If you are looking for a coffee spot, this one is a winner. The overall vibes ensure you are in a warm, positive vibe filled presence. Click on me for the original blog post.
"You Beauty" has been the best tagline wall for photo inspiration EVER. Not to mention, this little cafe shop has some of the most beautiful flat lay inspired items such as smoothie bowls (more specifically their 'yogurt+granola bowl') are both tasty and good for you. Overall, the monochrome aesthetic makes this place a big love of mine. I also recommend grabbing their iced coffees - these babies were so delicious. Gigi...can we go again?!
Although inconsistent with my typical monochrome appeal, this cafe cultivated my love of nature. Having their one wall plastered with planters and a plethora wooden designs, this cafe appealed to a different side of my personality that I do not get to express on my blog quite as often as I'd like. As most of you can tell - I am really committed to my monochrome, interchanging Instagram feed (although, I do change the colour scheme up seasonally as much as possible). However, these warm tones were a comfort to sit and sip in. I have a soft spot in my heart for any type of brownie option at coffee shops because... what goes better with coffee than something extra sweet am I right??! Definitely check out theirs and their drip coffee for an even more immersed coffee experience. Click on me to read more about this past adventure.

I still have a long way to go with my cafe-hopping hobby. I hope to try out so many more options and a while back even created my first evercoffee must try list. I have definitely added more to this list (from my save options on Instagram) but I think finding places you want to try is half the fun.
I hope everyone is having an amazing weekend. I cannot wait for more free time to check out more coffee shops. Please, definitely do not hesitate to send me a text or DM if you want to try out a coffee shop together. I am always looking for friends to enjoy a cup of coffee with and potentially be my blog date partner!
